Terms of Service

The rules for using Script Flow.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Script Flow, a screenwriting web app operated by an independent filmmaker based in Australia ("we", "us"). By using Script Flow you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Script Flow lets you write, format, store and export screenplays. The service is currently in beta and free of charge. Features may change, and we may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will tell you before anything you use stops being free.

3. Accounts and guest sessions

  • You can write as a guest without an account. Guest work is tied to your browser session and can be lost if your cookies are cleared or the session expires, so create an account to keep it.
  • Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • You must give accurate information when you create an account, and you are responsible for activity under it.

4. Your scripts belong to you

You keep all rights to the scripts and other content you create in Script Flow. You give us only the limited permission we need to store, display, back up and export your content so we can provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your work, publish it, or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to the content you add, and for keeping your own copies of important work. You can export your scripts at any time as PDF or Fountain.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Script Flow to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone else's rights, including copyright;
  • attempt to access other people's accounts or data, or probe, disrupt or overload the service;
  • create guest sessions or accounts in bulk, or use automated tools against the service;
  • resell or copy the service itself without our permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Our software

The Script Flow app, its design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Script Flow running and your work safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or error-free, especially during the beta. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we decide to shut Script Flow down, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your scripts.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Script Flow at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing motion.media.worldwide@gmail.com. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, the service is provided "as is", and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you did not export or back up. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Australia, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and tell you about significant changes. Questions about these Terms: motion.media.worldwide@gmail.com.
